Olympus UK moves to combined HQ
London, 25.09.2007 – Olympus UK Limited is combining its Consumer and Scientific operations into one headquarters in Watford with the move taking place in phases starting late September 2007.
The move is in response to growth in key business areas leading to increased demand for training and demonstration facilities. It will see the company’s Central London and Southall offices close and all functions re-locate to a newly refurbished building close to the M1/M25. The new premises will be more accessible to customers across the country and boast numerous benefits including new and larger demonstration areas plus more on site training capacity for both scientific and consumer products.

ChemAxon and Agilent Technologies Sign Agreement Extending JChem Integration with Kalabie Electronic Lab Notebook
BUDAPEST, Hungary, and SANTA CLARA, Calif., Sept. 24, 2007 — ChemAxon, a software solutions provider for cheminformatics, and Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) today announced an agreement to maintain the integration between the Kalabie Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN) and ChemAxon’s software suite. Agilent acquired the Kalabie ELN from Klee in June 2007. The contract transitions existing agreements between Klee and ChemAxon to Agilent and ChemAxon.

Alan Trinder retires after 18 years with Olympus
