Latest agreement confirms growing interest in the Glide SDI™

Oxford, UK, 26 February 2008 – Specialty pharma company, Glide Pharma, has signed an agreement with a leading pharmaceutical company to evaluate its proprietary Glide SDI™ - Solid Dose Injector - technology for the delivery of a branded peptide product.  This is Glide Pharma’s third deal involving a biological product, with further agreements close to fruition.

(NYSE: A) today announced that findings stemming from the use of a novel method to further increase the value of high-throughput DNA sequencing were presented at the Advances in Genome and Biology Technology (AGBT) conference. GP RequestVision™ goes live at James Paget Hospital in Great Yarmouth

50% of local GPs using new Olympus pathology e-request system within a month of go live

Watford, 07.02.2008 – James Paget University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is among the first UK sites to go live with GP RequestVision from Olympus. This new online GP pathology test request system, utilising software by Indigo4 Systems, is now streamlining the entire process of patient test ordering through to laboratory results. Such is its ease of use, that within a month of go live,  over half of the Trust’s GPs in the Great Yarmouth area are already using the new Olympus system.

Settlement resolves all pending patent litigations between two companies

CARLSBAD, Calif., and SANTA CLARA, Calif., Feb. 6, 2008 – Invitrogen Corporation (IVGN) and Agilent Technologies have jointly announced a confidential settlement of multiple patent litigations pending between the two companies. The settlement resolves three patent infringement lawsuits between Invitrogen and Stratagene Inc. Agilent acquired Stratagene in 2007.
